When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

After 77 played minutes River de Ramos Mejía got a freekick which was hit by Serafin Benat. River de Ramos Mejía's Mădălin Holban was substituted for Metodi Dutzov. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonzalo Bergessio in the 87th minute of play forced Tiquitaca FC's goalkeeper Aquiles Cordeal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Feliberto Ederono who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 89thth minute tested the skills of Roberto Estevon when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
