To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 44 minutes into the match, La gloriosa Acade's goal looked a bit too open when Haroldo Gilen came free, but Joost Kindermans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Leon Lobo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leonid Polovkov to make the kick off. In the 51st minute Vicente Bertran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aquiles Cordeal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 57 minutes into the match, La gloriosa Acade's goal looked a bit too open when Haroldo Gilen came free, but Joost Kindermans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 80 played minutes Tiquitaca FC got a freekick which was hit by Nemesio Fonda. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Jesus Platon put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Joost Kindermans. Joost Kindermans made an important save on a dangerous shot by Feliberto Ederono in the 86th minute. In the 87th match minute, Tiquitaca FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nemesio Fonda to maneuver through the defense. When Vicente Bertran came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the La gloriosa Acade fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vicente Bertran couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, La gloriosa Acade's Patricio Seme got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Joost Kindermans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonzalo Martinez in the 93rd minute of play. 94 minutes into the game, Feliberto Ederono recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Joost Kindermans. Feliberto Ederono showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3.
