Tiquitaca FC were awarded a corner in the 4th minute after vox dei's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gonzalo Martinez took the corner. Tiquitaca FC's Aquiles Cordeal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freddy Socorro in the 5th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Freddy Socorro in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aquiles Cordeal saved Tiquitaca FC from getting behind. Aquiles Cordeal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joachim Landin, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. After a defensive mix-up in vox dei's zone, Jesus Platon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorge Ekain came out of the goal and Jesus Platon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aquiles Cordeal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Freddy Socorro in the 19th minute of play. Jorge Ekain took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haroldo Gilen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joachim Landin in the 29th minute of play forced Tiquitaca FC's goalkeeper Aquiles Cordeal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Tiquitaca FC's Israel Baristo got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 35th minute Akis Kopanos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aquiles Cordeal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aquiles Cordeal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Palau in the 37th minute of play. Tiquitaca FC's Aquiles Cordeal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freddy Socorro in the 38th minute of play. After 39 played minutes Tiquitaca FC got a freekick which was hit by Gonzalo Martinez. In the 41st minute Freddy Socorro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aquiles Cordeal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Jesus Platon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jorge Ekain was relentless in the 44th minute of the game.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leo Palau to make the kick off. The supporters of Tiquitaca FC booed when vox dei was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sixto Sotil didn't get a good kick on the ball. Feliberto Ederono received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Jorge Ekain tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Akis Kopanos hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Tiquitaca FC's Feliberto Ederono got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jorge Ekain showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haroldo Gilen in the 64th minute of the match. Akis Kopanos hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Tiquitaca FC's Saul Baraquiel was substituted for Haroldo Gilen. In the 68th minute Feliberto Ederono shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Ekain saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th minute, Feliberto Ederono left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tiquitaca FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 76thth minute of the game Jesus Platon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but vox dei's Jorge Ekain was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Jesus Platon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tiquitaca FC's Feliberto Ederono got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 89 minutes into the game, Sixto Sotil was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. vox dei's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tiquitaca FC the free kick. In the 89th minute, Sixto Sotil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 91st minute Tiquitaca FC were awarded a corner.
