In the 8thth minute of the game Lucas Barcelos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tiquitaca FC's Aquiles Cordeal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Feliberto Gonsalvo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliberto Ederono, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Tiquitaca FC's zone, Lucas Barcelos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aquiles Cordeal came out of the goal and Lucas Barcelos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 17th minute Gonzalo Martinez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliberto Gonsalvo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, C A U's goal looked a bit too open when Jesus Platon came free, but Feliberto Gonsalvo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, C A U's Ceferino Hever got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Lucas Barcelos might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aquiles Cordeal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lucas Barcelos ran back to his position shaking his head. Aquiles Cordeal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lucas Barcelos in the 25th minute. C A U's Feliberto Gonsalvo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jesus Platon in the 26th minute of play. Feliberto Ederono received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Feliberto Gonsalvo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Tiquitaca FC booed when C A U was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nico González didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lucas Barcelos was the one to do the kick off. Aquiles Cordeal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lucas Barcelos's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Feliberto Ederono could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Feliberto Gonsalvo made a huge save. Tiquitaca FC's Aquiles Cordeal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Barcelos in the 62nd minute of play. After 64 minutes of play, C A U's Lucas Barcelos made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aquiles Cordeal was left in no man's land by his defense there! C A U's Eliseo Hurko was substituted for Ceferino Hever. C A U made a substitution. Bernabe Gartzen replaced Conrado Ferrer. Feliberto Gonsalvo came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Tiquitaca FC's Gonzalo Martinez. But to his dismay, Gonzalo Martinez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Feliberto Gonsalvo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Feliberto Ederono in the 73rd minute. Aquiles Cordeal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Barcelos in the 74th minute of play. C A U's Feliberto Gonsalvo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jesus Platon in the 76th minute of play. In the last second Feliberto Gonsalvo throw himself and got hold of the ball when Jesus Platon in the 76thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Feliberto Gonsalvo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Feliberto Ederono in the 81st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Barcelos in the 85th minute of play forced Tiquitaca FC's goalkeeper Aquiles Cordeal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th match minute, C A U was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Danilo Osasun to maneuver through the defense. C A U's Jorge Nahia was substituted for Lucas Barcelos. A collision led to C A U getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Danilo Osasun hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, Tiquitaca FC's Feliberto Gonsalvo threw himself towards the right post 94 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jesus Platon, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Gonzalo Martinez fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tiquitaca FC's protests and gave Gonzalo Martinez a yellow card for diving instead. Gonzalo Martinez kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Aquiles Cordeal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jorge Nahia went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. C A U were victorious despite being under pressure from Tiquitaca FC for much of the match.
