After 3 minutes of play, Cantera FC's Severiano Lopes made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roque Rexino was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cantera FC were awarded a corner in the 8th minute after Club A. Independiente's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Angel Millano took the corner. The corner led Cantera FC's Angel Millano to fire away a dangerous shot which Roque Rexino despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 9 minutes into the match, Gogo Fernendo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Roque Rexino. Club A. Independiente's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gogo Fernendo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After 12 minutes of play, Cantera FC's Anselmo Monteiro made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roque Rexino dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. In the 25th minute Anselmo Monteiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roque Rexino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roque Rexino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severiano Lopes, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Club A. Independiente's Roque Rexino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severiano Lopes in the 26th minute of play. Gogo Fernendo took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roque Rexino. Roque Rexino dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. Anselmo Monteiro scored 0-8 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roque Rexino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 33 minutes into the match, Club A. Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Severiano Lopes came free, but Roque Rexino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Club A. Independiente defense, Gogo Fernendo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roque Rexino. The Club A. Independiente fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roque Rexino should have stopped the shot. 41 minutes into the game, Gogo Fernendo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-10. Roque Rexino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Roque Rexino didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Severiano Lopes went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-11 was the resulting score. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-11.

54 minutes into the game, Severiano Lopes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-12. Roque Rexino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Anselmo Monteiro scored 0-13 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roque Rexino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gogo Fernendo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Roque Rexino having to make a save. Roque Rexino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gogo Fernendo in the 61st minute of play. 62 minutes into the game, Cantera FC's Anselmo Monteiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Roque Rexino made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-14. Cantera FC's David Abar was substituted for Gogo Fernendo. After a rather tough play, Cantera FC's David Abar got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club A. Independiente's goalkeeper Roque Rexino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Club A. Independiente's Venancio Mirande got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 71st minute, Cantera FC's David Abar ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Roque Rexino. Roque Rexino yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-15. Roque Rexino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Abar in the 74th minute of play. In the 77th minute Severiano Lopes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roque Rexino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roque Rexino came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Cantera FC's Anselmo Monteiro. But to his dismay, Anselmo Monteiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-16. Roque Rexino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Abar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anselmo Monteiro scored 0-17 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roque Rexino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Club A. Independiente's Venancio Mirande got a free kick in the 87th minute. Club A. Independiente's Roque Rexino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severiano Lopes in the 91st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Club A. Independiente's zone, Anselmo Monteiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roque Rexino came out of the goal and Anselmo Monteiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 96th play minute Severiano Lopes came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Roque Rexino. 0-18. Cantera FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
