But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rigoberto Gutxi couldn't finish the play. Rigoberto Gutxi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 16thth minute tested the skills of Marcelo Toribio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 17 minutes East Tokyo United's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rigoberto Gutxi who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Rigoberto Gutxi got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marcelo Toribio quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 江宁默 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Bonetti in the 22nd minute of the match. Ubita FC's 江宁默 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Bonetti in the 27th minute of play. In the 33rd minute Martin Bonetti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 江宁默 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 34 minutes, Marcelo Toribio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 37 minutes of play, East Tokyo United's Martin Bonetti made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. 江宁默 was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half East Tokyo United were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Rigoberto Gutxi made the kick off in the second half. Martin Bonetti's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 江宁默 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Martin Bonetti could shoot a difficult shot in the 57th minute, which 江宁默 however easily saved by the left post. 58 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ubita FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Arsenio Tibalt was slow to take the kick. During this time East Tokyo United's players had a chance to rest. The corner led East Tokyo United's Ulysses Leme to fire away a dangerous shot which 江宁默 despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Martin Bonetti dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of 江宁默, 0-2. Adan Javiar charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adan Javiar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Armando Nicolini shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. When the final whistle went the supporters of East Tokyo United were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Ubita FC side.
