River Plate's goal looked a bit too open when Rigoberto Gutxi came free, but 马益银 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Faustino Kusko hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the C. A. River Plate defense, Rigoberto Gutxi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of 马益银. The C. A. River Plate fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that 马益银 should have stopped the shot. 37 minutes into the match, Ubita FC's goalkeeper 江宁默 had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benedek Vén.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rigoberto Gutxi made a kick off.
