Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rareș Feraru started the match with the kick off. The supporters of C. A. River Plate booed when ZarA A.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Odol didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Sebastian Odol fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ZarA A.C's protests and gave Sebastian Odol a yellow card for diving instead. In the 8th match minute, ZarA A.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Odol to maneuver through the defense. Cristobal Felipo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusebio Ireno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. C. A. River Plate's Santiago Rodas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anıl Berk Soysan in the 19th minute of play. With a little luck, C. A. River Plate's Santiago Rodas got control of the ball when Anıl Berk Soysan tried to sneak it across the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, C. A. River Plate's goal looked a bit too open when Rareș Feraru came free, but Santiago Rodas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rareș Feraru took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Santiago Rodas. Santiago Rodas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After 25 minutes of play, C. A. River Plate's Benedek Vén made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cristobal Felipo was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 28th match minute, ZarA A.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by James Gordon to maneuver through the defense. 30 minutes into the match, C. A. River Plate's goal looked a bit too open when Rareș Feraru came free, but Santiago Rodas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Francisco Pancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristobal Felipo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Cristobal Felipo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Phillip Abraham, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 37th minute, Francisco Pancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C. A. River Plate fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. 40 minutes into the match, Benedek Vén had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristobal Felipo. ZarA A.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benedek Vén was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Rareș Feraru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santiago Rodas having to interfere. In the 47th minute Francisco Pancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristobal Felipo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

The wind increased when Eusebio Ireno made the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute Anıl Berk Soysan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santiago Rodas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristobal Felipo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Francisco Pancho's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Cristobal Felipo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benedek Vén in the 56th minute. Cristobal Felipo made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Benedek Vén sent off a good shot on target. Francisco Pancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Cristobal Felipo made a huge save. In the 65th minute, Victor Hugo Olasagutia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Santiago Rodas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anıl Berk Soysan, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Cristobal Felipo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eusebio Ireno in the 71st minute of the match. Cristobal Felipo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benedek Vén went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-6 was the resulting score. Benedek Vén scored 1-7 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cristobal Felipo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to ZarA A.C getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Rareș Feraru hit a great ball. The supporters of C. A. River Plate's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
