It was a well-played corner which Martin Bonetti managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Marcelo Toribio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedito Fiúza in the 33rd minute of the match. Marcelo Toribio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Percy Medeiros in the 34th minute of play. Llavallol FC's Agustin Orion played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petrică Levința in the 39th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Martin Bonetti got free with Agustin Orion in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 45 minutes into the game, Robin Hood was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. East Tokyo United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Llavallol FC the free kick. In the 45th match minute, East Tokyo United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robin Hood to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Percy Medeiros came free with the goalkeeper in the 52nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Marcelo Toribio could save by the left post. After some careless play in the East Tokyo United defense, Carlos Maxin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcelo Toribio. The East Tokyo United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcelo Toribio should have stopped the shot. Osvaldo Santio hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Marcelo Toribio made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Damian Serafo sent off a good shot on target. Marcelo Toribio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Maxin in the 68th minute of the match. In the 69th minute, Emanuel Neto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Llavallol FC's Damian Serafo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 70th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for East Tokyo United. East Tokyo United's Cayetano Silban was substituted for Emanuel Neto. East Tokyo United's Marcelo Toribio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save East Tokyo United from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedito Fiúza in the 74th minute of play forced East Tokyo United's goalkeeper Marcelo Toribio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Agustin Orion took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robin Hood, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Armando Nicolini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
