With a couple of smart ball manuevers Darryl Buckner in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hugo Orlando Gatti saved Abuba Akotonon FC from getting behind. The corner ended in Wei Li almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Abuba Akotonon FC's Hugo Orlando Gatti did a great save. Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Victoriano Bernaldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramón Garay in the 16th minute of play. The throw-in from Eduardo Emmanuel in the 18th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Leopoldo Rosa. Vânderson Barbosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Lance Veloz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Victoriano Bernaldo was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Darryl Buckner blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hugo Orlando Gatti having to make a save. Hugo Orlando Gatti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darryl Buckner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Darryl Buckner came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Dep Colonia Avellaneda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Darryl Buckner couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Abuba Akotonon FC's zone, Darryl Buckner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugo Orlando Gatti came out of the goal and Darryl Buckner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 89 minutes into the match, Dep Colonia Avellaneda's goal looked a bit too open when Vânderson Barbosa came free, but Victoriano Bernaldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abuba Akotonon FC were awarded a corner in the 91th minute after Dep Colonia Avellaneda's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Genaro Elivareo took the corner. The corner led to Abuba Akotonon FC's Eduardo Emmanuel getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The Dep Colonia Avellaneda supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Abuba Akotonon FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Abuba Akotonon FC.
