Chiquito Martinez came out of the goal and Omar Quintyn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Andres Berto hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Sören Bengtsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Flavio Laurgain in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg 陈昂骏 saved Dante For Ever from getting behind. Dante For Ever's 陈昂骏 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavio Laurgain in the 70th minute of play. Chiquito Martinez was out of position in the 83 minute of play, and 卓默翀 capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. 卓默翀 really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Independiente's Jorg Pieters was substituted for Flavio Laurgain. In the 98th minute Roque Leobardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chiquito Martinez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Independiente had won after a very even match.
