After some careless play in the Duffensores Springfield defense, Prospero Hug kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cleto Walme. The Duffensores Springfield fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cleto Walme should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Gabriel Corderro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cleto Walme was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Prospero Hug in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cleto Walme prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Prospero Hug received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Cleto Walme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Corderro in the 21st minute of play forced Duffensores Springfield's goalkeeper Cleto Walme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erland Sagbakken made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maciej Haszczak in the 23rd minute. 32 minutes into the match, Atletico Saladillo FC's goalkeeper Erland Sagbakken had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Salvador Aresti. Duffensores Springfield's Cleto Walme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaudencio Chorche in the 35th minute of play. After 36 minutes Duffensores Springfield's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Prospero Hug who took care of the corner kick. Gabriel Corderro was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 40th minute, Matias Txeru reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Erland Sagbakken. The goal made the score 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Honorato Pirmin in the 44th minute of play forced Atletico Saladillo FC's goalkeeper Erland Sagbakken to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 45 played minutes Atletico Saladillo FC got a freekick which was hit by Gogo Astigar. After a rather tough play, Atletico Saladillo FC's Prospero Hug got a free kick in the 46th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gabriel Corderro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Gabriel Corderro came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Atletico Saladillo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gabriel Corderro couldn't finish the play. Benedicto Maidana hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 66th match minute, Duffensores Springfield was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Honorato Pirmin to maneuver through the defense. Fabian Abecia hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Erland Sagbakken took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salvador Aresti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th minute Salvador Aresti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erland Sagbakken saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cleto Walme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prospero Hug in the 73rd minute of the match. 80 minutes into the match, Atletico Saladillo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Matias Txeru came free, but Erland Sagbakken reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Atletico Saladillo FC's Erland Sagbakken played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matias Txeru in the 82nd minute of play. Cleto Walme came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Atletico Saladillo FC's Prospero Hug. But to his dismay, Prospero Hug quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Duffensores Springfield's Cleto Walme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Corderro in the 88th minute of play. 90 minutes into the game, Fabian Abecia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atletico Saladillo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Duffensores Springfield the free kick. After a rather tough play, Atletico Saladillo FC's Fabian Abecia got a free kick in the 90th minute. Atletico Saladillo FC made a substitution. Hector Ferrer replaced Gabriel Corderro. After 91 played minutes Atletico Saladillo FC got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Abecia. Matias Txeru kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. The Duffensores Springfield supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Atletico Saladillo FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Atletico Saladillo FC.
