The Monster Proyect fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. 14 minutes into the match, Tadeo Johans had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rogelio Nevada. LOS TRIPODES's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tadeo Johans was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Rogelio Nevada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Onofre in the 20th minute of play. 21 minutes into the game, Gilberto Onofre cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Rogelio Nevada was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kang Zhen Wei in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vytautas Gudonis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 33rd minute, Tadeo Johans left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Monster Proyect fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. In the 35th minute, Tobias Platon made a precise shot to the right of Rogelio Nevada. LOS TRIPODES's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-8. Rogelio Nevada didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tobias Platon went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-9 was the resulting score. Tadeo Johans took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rogelio Nevada. Rogelio Nevada dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-10. Tobias Platon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tadeo Johans's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rogelio Nevada read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. Luc Weingartner hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. Rogelio Nevada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobias Platon in the 49th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-10 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gilberto Onofre to make the kick off. After some careless play in the LOS TRIPODES defense, Tobias Platon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rogelio Nevada. The LOS TRIPODES fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rogelio Nevada should have stopped the shot.
