Akis Strilakos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldinho Molski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind River Plate's goalkeeper Rene Chale, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Akis Strilakos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artemio Filipo in the 13th minute of the match. River Plate were awarded a corner in the 14th minute after The Power Rangers's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Anibal Quinton took the corner. 21 minutes into the match, The Power Rangers's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldinho Molski came free, but Akis Strilakos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to River Plate getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Abelardo Isias hit a great ball. Akis Strilakos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ronaldinho Molski went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 33rd minute Ronaldinho Molski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Akis Strilakos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Power Rangers's Akis Strilakos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldinho Molski in the 33rd minute of play. Adan Rico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 48th minute Artemio Filipo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Akis Strilakos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Akis Strilakos came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by River Plate's Artemio Filipo. But to his dismay, Artemio Filipo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After the first half River Plate were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Florin Bratu struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Akis Strilakos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for River Plate. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Satordi in the 57th minute of play forced River Plate's goalkeeper Rene Chale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, The Power Rangers's Akis Strilakos got control of the ball when Ronaldinho Molski tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Ronaldinho Molski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Akis Strilakos was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. After 63 played minutes The Power Rangers got a freekick which was hit by Silvestre Flor. A collision led to The Power Rangers getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Silvestre Flor hit a great ball. The long shot by Anibal Quinton in the 65th minute really tested Akis Strilakos's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ambrosio Guerau in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rene Chale saved River Plate from getting behind. Rene Chale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ambrosio Guerau in the 68th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the match, The Power Rangers's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldinho Molski came free, but Akis Strilakos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 81 minutes into the game, when Silvestre Flor put in a rough tackle. Akis Strilakos had in the 83rdth minute some difficulties stopping Anibal Quinton's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball In the 85thth minute of the game Ronaldinho Molski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but The Power Rangers's Akis Strilakos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Akis Strilakos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldinho Molski in the 85th minute of the match. Akis Strilakos came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by River Plate's Ryszard Penc. But to his dismay, Ryszard Penc quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Ronaldinho Molski in the 90thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Akis Strilakos, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 92 minutes into the match, River Plate's goal looked a bit too open when Ambrosio Guerau came free, but Rene Chale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rene Chale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Walme in the 93rd minute of the match. 99 minutes into the match, Ronaldinho Molski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Akis Strilakos. The Power Rangers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ronaldinho Molski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. The The Power Rangers supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching River Plate's performance. The match ended with a win for River Plate.
