Evaristo Velasco came out of the goal and Ramón Abila tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fabricio Rencio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Basilio Garaona read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. A collision led to Cachiyuyo EAS getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Javier Palban hit a great ball. Evaristo Velasco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maxi Moco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Cachiyuyo EAS's Selwyn Seangchjan got a free kick in the 40th minute. Basilio Garaona showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabricio Rencio, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. In the 45th minute Fabricio Rencio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basilio Garaona saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabricio Rencio scored 0-2 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Basilio Garaona, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Maxi Moco to make the kick off. When Edgard Polentzi came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Cachiyuyo EAS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgard Polentzi couldn't finish the play. Basilio Garaona was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 65th minute, Eleuterio Joachim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabricio Rencio in the 72nd minute of play forced Lamarque F. C.'s goalkeeper Basilio Garaona to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd minute Cachiyuyo EAS were awarded a corner. Fabricio Rencio went to the cornerflag to take it. Dito Sena might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Basilio Garaona. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dito Sena ran back to his position shaking his head. 89 minutes into the match, Lamarque F. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Dito Sena came free, but Basilio Garaona reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Edgard Polentzi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Basilio Garaona was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. The supporters of Lamarque F. C. booed when Cachiyuyo EAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Selwyn Seangchjan didn't get a good kick on the ball. 98 minutes into the match, Maxi Moco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Evaristo Velasco.
