Russell Romero ran over to the corner to take the kick. TEMPLE F.C.'s Russell Romero was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dante Eguzki in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Viruela's Dante Eguzki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Magnus Rolandsson in the 17th minute of play. Dante Eguzki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Magnus Rolandsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Octavio Isadore hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Rodolfo Ricart showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Etxekopar in the 27th minute of the match. Dante Eguzki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TEMPLE F.C..
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Filomeno Walme stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 92 minutes, Baskın Nihat managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TEMPLE F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Baskın Nihat was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Baskın Nihat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Alfredo Etxekopar fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Viruela's protests and gave Alfredo Etxekopar a yellow card for diving instead.
