The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Bella Vista CBA's goalkeeper Aurelio Fernanco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aurelio Fernanco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Doğuş Zühtü, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 7th match minute, Bella Vista CBA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augusto Bernad to maneuver through the defense. Aurelio Umea struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Jack Nicholson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bella Vista CBA. After 11 played minutes Bella Vista CBA got a freekick which was hit by Fulgencio Romildo. If Ronny Rudø had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Zeledon Baristo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dep. Morón 1947's supporters rose to their feet, but Zeledon Baristo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aurelio Fernanco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jack Nicholson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelio Umea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th match minute, Bella Vista CBA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luisito Poz to maneuver through the defense. Ronny Rudø took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 27th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Aurelio Fernanco. Bella Vista CBA's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Dep. Morón 1947's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ronny Rudø in the 28th minute. The corner ended in Ronny Rudø almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Bella Vista CBA's Aurelio Fernanco did a great save. After 32 played minutes Dep. Morón 1947 got a freekick which was hit by Doğuş Zühtü. A hard shot 34 in the game by Aurelio Umea from a close distance when the talented Jack Nicholson managed to make a qualified save. Dep. Morón 1947's players were relieved. Thanks to some nice moves Ragnar Lodbrok could shoot a difficult shot in the 38th minute, which Jack Nicholson however easily saved by the left post. Jack Nicholson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelio Umea in the 39th minute of play. Rencio Armada kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Dep. Morón 1947's zone, Aurelio Umea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jack Nicholson came out of the goal and Aurelio Umea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aurelio Umea in the 45thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jack Nicholson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.

Bella Vista CBA's Aurelio Fernanco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Bella Vista CBA from getting a goal against them. Aurelio Fernanco made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Zeledon Baristo sent off a good shot on target. In the 63rd minute, Dobromir Makomaski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 65th minute, Ragnar Lodbrok got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 67th minute, Aurelio Umea ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jack Nicholson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Fernan Harriet hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. In the 78th minute, Zeledon Baristo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dep. Morón 1947 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 81 minutes into the match, Bella Vista CBA's Kärim Benzekri sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jack Nicholson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fernan Harriet kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. The supporters of Bella Vista CBA booed when Dep. Morón 1947 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernan Harriet didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 89 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Aurelio Umea sped through Dep. Morón 1947's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jack Nicholson. 92 minutes into the match, Jonathan Truylos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jack Nicholson. Dep. Morón 1947's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jonathan Truylos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. If Stanislaw Siedlecki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
