Filomeno Walme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 26 minutes into the game, Alfredo Etxekopar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Dimitri Leconte was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Viruela getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Ildefonso Bikendi hit a great ball. 30 minutes into the match, Ildefonso Pasqual notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Viruela's Dante Eguzki. Dante Eguzki was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Viruela's Dante Eguzki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Viruela from getting a goal against them. 37 minutes into the match, Viruela's goalkeeper Dante Eguzki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edelmiro Pagomari. If Alfredo Etxekopar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Filomeno Walme hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Filomeno Walme in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dimitri Leconte prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 46th minute, Viruela's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Robustiano Domingues fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Dimitri Leconte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filomeno Walme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Viruela reached it. Raimundo Bonifaco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dimitri Leconte having to interfere. When Phoenix Athletic's Ildefonso Pasqual in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Dante Eguzki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucio Roldanillo in the 95th minute of play. 97 minutes into the match, Viruela's goal looked a bit too open when Robustiano Domingues came free, but Dante Eguzki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
