Dante Eguzki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zeledon Baristo in the 8th minute. In the 11th minute Petru Grecu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jack Nicholson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, Dep. Morón 1947's goal looked a bit too open when Petru Grecu came free, but Jack Nicholson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Zeledon Baristo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dep. Morón 1947's supporters rose to their feet, but Zeledon Baristo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dante Eguzki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ronny Rudø struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Dante Eguzki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dep. Morón 1947. After 28 minutes, Zeledon Baristo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dep. Morón 1947 and the Viruela players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 29th match minute, Dep. Morón 1947 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zeledon Baristo to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute, Raimundo Bonifaco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Viruela fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Ronny Rudø could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Dante Eguzki made a huge save. With a little luck, Viruela's Dante Eguzki got control of the ball when Zeledon Baristo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 38th play minute Doğuş Zühtü came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Dante Eguzki. 1-1. Doğuş Zühtü hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Viruela's Dante Eguzki got control of the ball when Zeledon Baristo tried to sneak it across the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

In the 53rd match minute, Viruela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petru Grecu to maneuver through the defense. Viruela's Dante Eguzki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeledon Baristo in the 56th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zeledon Baristo in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dante Eguzki prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 65th match minute, Dep. Morón 1947 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stanislaw Siedlecki to maneuver through the defense. Filomeno Walme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jack Nicholson having to interfere. When Stanislaw Siedlecki came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Dep. Morón 1947 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stanislaw Siedlecki couldn't finish the play. Filomeno Walmes short, quick shot in the 80thth minute got Jack Nicholson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petru Grecu in the 83rd minute of play forced Dep. Morón 1947's goalkeeper Jack Nicholson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Petru Grecu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Jack Nicholson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dante Eguzki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zeledon Baristo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Zeledon Baristo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 91st minute of the match, Raimundo Bonifaco tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jack Nicholson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zeledon Baristo in the 94th minute of play forced Viruela's goalkeeper Dante Eguzki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dep. Morón 1947's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
