Silverio Cordearo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fidel Bartolome in the 8th minute of play. Silverio Cordearo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fidel Bartolome, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 李博潮 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silverio Cordearo having to interfere. Carlos Haimar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Silverio Cordearo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 23 minutes into the match, Quilmes Atletico Club's goal looked a bit too open when Benicio Balasi came free, but Cláudio Motta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. CA Quake were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after Quilmes Atletico Club's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rogelio Sadurni took the corner. The corner led CA Quake's Rogelio Sadurni to fire away a dangerous shot which Cláudio Motta despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Benicio Balasi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 28thth minute tested the skills of Cláudio Motta when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 38 minutes CA Quake's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Leon Raymundo who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Quilmes Atletico Club's Leon Raymundo to fire away a dangerous shot which Silverio Cordearo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 李博潮 kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Benicio Balasi had several of the Quilmes Atletico Club's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 42 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Cláudio Motta as he didn't even see the shot coming. 李博潮 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in CA Quake's zone, Carlos Haimar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silverio Cordearo came out of the goal and Carlos Haimar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benicio Balasi to make the kick off. After having played for 58 minutes, Benicio Balasi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CA Quake's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benicio Balasi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cláudio Motta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benicio Balasi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Quilmes Atletico Club's Cláudio Motta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benicio Balasi in the 61st minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Fidel Bartolome had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Silverio Cordearo. CA Quake's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fidel Bartolome was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Gustavo Quiroga succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-4 in the 75th playminute. CA Quake's Silverio Cordearo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save CA Quake from getting a goal against them. CA Quake's Silverio Cordearo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fidel Bartolome in the 85th minute of play. In the 86th minute Benicio Balasi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cláudio Motta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Benicio Balasi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cláudio Motta was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in CA Quake's zone, 李博潮 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silverio Cordearo came out of the goal and 李博潮 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Quilmes Atletico Club's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
