In the 13th minute, Dráusio Veloso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 22ndth minute of the game Sebastião Esteves who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Picantes del Norte's Silvestre Loramendi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dráusio Veloso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Maximino Cambranes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sebastião Esteves in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Silvestre Loramendi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Silvestre Loramendi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastião Esteves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 39 minutes into the match, Picantes del Norte's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastião Esteves came free, but Silvestre Loramendi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Osoro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dráusio Veloso, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. When Dráusio Veloso came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Picantes del Norte fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dráusio Veloso couldn't finish the play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastião Esteves couldn't finish the play.
