Gustavo Cordarrell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luisito Quintan in the 47th minute of play. Central's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Eugenio Vermudo in the 48th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Central had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
