An unexpectedly hard shot by 李博潮 in the 14th minute of play forced Picantes del Norte's goalkeeper Silvestre Loramendi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rafael Dei didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dráusio Veloso went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Dráusio Veloso came free with the goalkeeper in the 21st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Rafael Dei could save by the left post. 22 minutes into the match, Picantes del Norte's goal looked a bit too open when 李博潮 came free, but Silvestre Loramendi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fidel Bartolome struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Silvestre Loramendi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Carlos Haimar sped through Picantes del Norte's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Silvestre Loramendi. In the 34th minute Dráusio Veloso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Dei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th minute of the match, Gregorio Gizon tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rafael Dei saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After taking down the ball on Picantes del Norte's corner Dráusio Veloso fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rafael Dei quite easily take care of the ball. In the 44th minute of the match Picantes del Norte got a corner. Quilmes Atletico Club's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jairo Pueblo ran over to the corner to take the kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fidel Bartolome in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Silvestre Loramendi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

But to his dismay, 李博潮 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-4. With a little luck, Picantes del Norte's Silvestre Loramendi got control of the ball when 李博潮 tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 92 minutes, Dráusio Veloso made it 4-4 with a short kick to the right side. Quilmes Atletico Club's Rafael Dei tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
