Victoriano Sustrai took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 12th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Salih Orus. Central's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Central's Luisito Quintan got a free kick in the 16th minute. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Central's Luisito Quintan in the 20th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Silverio Cordearo was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for CA Quake through an amazing save. With a little luck, CA Quake's Silverio Cordearo got control of the ball when Gelu Nicolau tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match clock showed 28 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Luisito Quintan sped through CA Quake's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Silverio Cordearo. In the 31st minute Luisito Quintan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silverio Cordearo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Giovani Lo Celso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Silverio Cordearo made a huge save. After having played for 36 minutes, Cayetano Aznaro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CA Quake's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cayetano Aznaro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Silverio Cordearo made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Giovani Lo Celso sent off a good shot on target. If Giovani Lo Celso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 47 minutes, Silverio Cordearo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luisito Quintan was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Victoriano Sustrai during the 50th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to CA Quake getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Victoriano Sustrai hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giovani Lo Celso in the 51st minute of play forced CA Quake's goalkeeper Silverio Cordearo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silverio Cordearo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giovani Lo Celso in the 59th minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, CA Quake's goal looked a bit too open when Giovani Lo Celso came free, but Silverio Cordearo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Giovani Lo Celso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Central's supporters rose to their feet, but Giovani Lo Celso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silverio Cordearo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. CA Quake made a substitution. Jacobo Mouricio replaced Victoriano Sustrai. CA Quake's Eloy Larra was substituted for Tomi Giusti. After 69 played minutes Central got a freekick which was hit by Arnoldo Bermund. With a little luck, Central's Salih Orus got control of the ball when Cayetano Aznaro tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Andres Ubelteso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silverio Cordearo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luisito Quintan in the 93rd minute of play. 96 minutes into the game, Luisito Quintan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Central's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CA Quake the free kick. Luisito Quintan kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Central's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
