Spectators: 7555 (Terracing: 5755, Seating: 1750, VIP seats: 50) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Moises Lekubegi took the kick off in the first half of the match. Estrella Austral's Prudencio Vergaray played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moises Lekubegi in the 3rd minute of play. In the 5th minute of the match Los Fachas Fc got a corner. Estrella Austral's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Prospero Duardo ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Los Fachas Fc's corner Benigno Gombal fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Prudencio Vergaray quite easily take care of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Estrella Austral's Rosendo Bittor slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rafael Quinten. That made the score 1-0 after 6 minutes of play. Faustino Senio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Moises Lekubegi in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Prudencio Vergaray saved Estrella Austral from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Faustino Senio in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Prudencio Vergaray prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Prudencio Vergaray took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moises Lekubegi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Prudencio Vergaray showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moises Lekubegi, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Los Fachas Fc's Veronica Boba pulled a muscle in his leg after 19 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Nunez Escobar charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nunez Escobar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 20 played minutes Estrella Austral got a freekick which was hit by Nunez Escobar. 21 minutes into the match, Estrella Austral's goal looked a bit too open when Prospero Duardo came free, but Prudencio Vergaray reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Prospero Duardo, 23 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Prudencio Vergaray came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Los Fachas Fc's Moises Lekubegi. But to his dismay, Moises Lekubegi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. When the match clock showed 33 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Moises Lekubegi sped through Estrella Austral's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Prudencio Vergaray. Estrella Austral's Prudencio Vergaray played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faustino Senio in the 36th minute of play. When Los Fachas Fc's Moises Lekubegi in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Estrella Austral's goalie prevented a goal. 40 minutes into the match, Estrella Austral's goal looked a bit too open when Faustino Senio came free, but Prudencio Vergaray reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, Rosendo Bittor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rafael Quinten. Los Fachas Fc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rosendo Bittor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. In the 46th minute Faustino Senio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prudencio Vergaray saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-3.

The wind increased when Rosendo Bittor made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Moises Lekubegi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Prudencio Vergaray was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. Rolando Lucado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Quinten having to interfere. Christian Medero hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. After 57 played minutes, Los Fachas Fc's Prospero Duardo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Prudencio Vergaray came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Los Fachas Fc reached it. A collision led to Estrella Austral getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Christian Medero hit a great ball. Prudencio Vergaray was out of position in the 62 minute of play, and Faustino Senio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Faustino Senio really showed his touch with that goal: 2-5. Faustino Senio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Prudencio Vergaray made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Estrella Austral's zone, Faustino Senio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Prudencio Vergaray came out of the goal and Faustino Senio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Prudencio Vergaray was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Moises Lekubegi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-6 in the 68 minute of play. Blas Soter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Estrella Austral getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Rosendo Bittor hit a great ball. Rolando Lucado struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Rafael Quinten didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Estrella Austral. Faustino Senio in the 84thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Prudencio Vergaray, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Prudencio Vergaray made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Faustino Senio sent off a good shot on target. Prudencio Vergaray was a little too slow when Moises Lekubegi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 90th minute. The score was now 2-7. Los Fachas Fc's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
