After 14 played minutes CENTAURO F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Gregorio Fernandes. 14 minutes into the match, CENTAURO F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Felix Demesio came free, but Leonides Meder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The nice shot from Dragoş Sorin in the 18thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Prudencio Vergaray had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Prudencio Vergaray prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 62 minutes into the match, Estrella Austral's goal looked a bit too open when Dragoş Sorin came free, but Prudencio Vergaray reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Estrella Austral's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CENTAURO F.C. the free kick. In the 96th minute Salvador Laffitte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prudencio Vergaray saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Estrella Austral's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
