With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gonzalo Chesus in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Prudencio Vergaray saved Estrella Austral from getting behind. When Perros del sur's Gonzalo Chesus in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 18th minute Donato Viator shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prudencio Vergaray saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Estrella Austral getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Tomas Aresti hit a great ball. 24 minutes into the match, Perros del sur's goal looked a bit too open when Rosendo Bittor came free, but Miguel Orlondon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Gonzalo Chesus's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Prudencio Vergaray was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. In the 30th minute, Gonzalo Chesus left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Perros del sur fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Sixto Goi made in the 37th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Felipe Jerardo. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gonzalo Chesus in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Prudencio Vergaray prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Perros del sur's Gonzalo Chesus in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Estrella Austral's goalie prevented a goal. Rosendo Bittor scored 1-1 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Miguel Orlondon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rosendo Bittor to make the kick off. When Feliks Bielecki fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Perros del sur's protests and gave Feliks Bielecki a yellow card for diving instead. 54 minutes into the match, Gonzalo Chesus notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Estrella Austral's Prudencio Vergaray. Prudencio Vergaray was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Estrella Austral's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Felix Demesio in the 63rd minute. Estrella Austral's Felix Demesio was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Miguel Orlondon in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Estrella Austral's Prudencio Vergaray played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonzalo Chesus in the 71st minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Perros del sur's goalkeeper Miguel Orlondon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Norberto Mannuel. 74 minutes into the match, Perros del sur's Gonzalo Chesus sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Prudencio Vergaray narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gonzalo Chesus in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Prudencio Vergaray saved Estrella Austral from getting behind. Gonzalo Chesus struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Prudencio Vergaray didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Perros del sur. 81 minutes into the match, Estrella Austral's goal looked a bit too open when Gonzalo Chesus came free, but Prudencio Vergaray reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, Donato Viator notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of Estrella Austral's Prudencio Vergaray. Prudencio Vergaray was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Prudencio Vergaray showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gonzalo Chesus in the 93rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Estrella Austral's zone, Gonzalo Chesus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Prudencio Vergaray came out of the goal and Gonzalo Chesus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 96th minute, Gonzalo Chesus ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Prudencio Vergaray was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Perros del sur fully deserved thier win.
