An unexpectedly hard shot by Dragoş Sorin in the 22nd minute of play forced Caricancha's goalkeeper Amado Gamus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Caricancha's Amado Gamus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dragoş Sorin in the 31st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dragoş Sorin in the 33rd minute of play forced Caricancha's goalkeeper Amado Gamus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the game, Fermin Precioso recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Leonides Meder. The crowd rose to their feet as Caricancha's Fermin Precioso slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Leonides Meder. That made the score 3-0 after 39 minutes of play. Caricancha's Amado Gamus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edoardo Petroni in the 45th minute of play. After having played for 47 minutes, Marco van Nistelrooij managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caricancha's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marco van Nistelrooij was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Caricancha made a substitution. Jon Hally replaced Fermin Precioso. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edoardo Petroni made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jon Hally in the 53rd minute of play forced CENTAURO F.C.'s goalkeeper Leonides Meder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amado Gamus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edoardo Petroni, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After 58 minutes, Adrian Odilon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CENTAURO F.C. and the Caricancha players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, CENTAURO F.C.'s Adrian Odilon got a free kick in the 58th minute. After 60 played minutes CENTAURO F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Odilon. Caricancha's Joel Artaldo took a good shot, in the 60th minute, which hit the crossbar above Leonides Meder's head, and flew over the goal. CENTAURO F.C.'s manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by Caricancha. Caricancha's Clinton Mata was substituted for Zheng Chao Bing. When Caricancha's Muni Forró in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Cosmas Simbolon was slow to take the kick. During this time Caricancha's players had a chance to rest. CENTAURO F.C.'s Leonides Meder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Astor Senio in the 83rd minute of play. In the 85th minute, Pablo Acevedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edoardo Petroni blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Amado Gamus having to make a save. Leonides Meder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Muni Forró, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind CENTAURO F.C.'s goalkeeper Leonides Meder, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Caricancha fans cheered their team off the field, for while CENTAURO F.C. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
