Paolo Pereyra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Slawomir Winograd, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Amancio Ricart struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Gerasimos Verros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ManagerZone Academy. With an all-out effort, Caleufú's Paolo Pereyra threw himself towards the right post 36 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ivan Chesus, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Natalio Jacob managed to get in a good position for a shot. ManagerZone Academy's supporters rose to their feet, but Natalio Jacob was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gerasimos Verros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 44 minutes into the match, Caleufú's goal looked a bit too open when Steve Hyuga came free, but Gerasimos Verros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Steve Hyuga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Godoy in the 51st minute of play forced ManagerZone Academy's goalkeeper Paolo Pereyra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 57th minute, but Gerasimos Verros got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Caleufú hanging dry this time. Gerasimos Verros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Steve Hyuga in the 59th minute of the match. Francisco Godoy took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paolo Pereyra. Paolo Pereyra dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 81st minute, Leon Messi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 90 minutes into the match, Caleufú's goal looked a bit too open when Steve Hyuga came free, but Gerasimos Verros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paolo Pereyra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basiel Reynders in the 92nd minute of play. Caleufú's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
