The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Salim Al Saleh during the 2nd minute. Jonas Firmo hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. After 17 played minutes, Three Deck Wizards's Arnoldo Beturian shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Maximiliano Tab came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Three Deck Wizards reached it. With a little luck, Three Deck Wizards's Victorino Misael got control of the ball when Ariel Alfonso tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Uriel Mikeldi got free with Victorino Misael in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Maximiliano Tab took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augustin Guillemot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute Ismael Maidana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximiliano Tab saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th minute, Sinbosteros's Ariel Alfonso ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Victorino Misael. Victorino Misael yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Hector Urko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sinbosteros's supporters rose to their feet, but Hector Urko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victorino Misael breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Sinbosteros booed when Three Deck Wizards was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salim Al Saleh didn't get a good kick on the ball.

After a rather tough play, Sinbosteros's Ariel Alfonso got a free kick in the 54th minute. After having played for 62 minutes, Uriel Mikeldi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sinbosteros's supporters crossed their fingers, but Uriel Mikeldi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Sinbosteros booed when Three Deck Wizards was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salim Al Saleh didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ariel Alfonso charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ariel Alfonso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ariel Alfonso hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. After 74 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Sinbosteros! Sinbosteros's Maximiliano Tab proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Sinbosteros from getting a goal against them. Victorino Misael showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Uriel Mikeldi, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Clodoveo Jurgi put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Maximiliano Tab. Hector Urko took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Victorino Misael. Victorino Misael dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Maximiliano Tab made an important save on a dangerous shot by Augustin Guillemot in the 91st minute. Baltasar Panfilo kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. Sinbosteros made a substitution. Carlos Ospetsu replaced Ariel Alfonso. In the 99th minute, Carlos Ospetsu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Sinbosteros fans cheered their team off the field, for while Three Deck Wizards had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
