Spectators: 7745 (Terracing: 5810, Seating: 1781, VIP seats: 154) León FC's Hugo Frasco started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Hugo Frasco came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the León FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hugo Frasco couldn't finish the play. After 5 played minutes EL CERVECERO F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Higinio Valente. Hugo Frasco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ladislao Primo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vinicio Felipo having to interfere. Vinicio Felipo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hugo Frasco's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Ladislao Primo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 14thth minute, Vinicio Felipo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Vinicio Felipo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ladislao Primo in the 16th minute of play. EL CERVECERO F.C.'s Vinicio Felipo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ladislao Primo in the 16th minute of play. EL CERVECERO F.C.'s Valer Bălășoiu got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 28th minute Radomir Tomiczek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Ospina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. EL CERVECERO F.C.'s Vinicio Felipo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save EL CERVECERO F.C. from getting a goal against them. In the 37th minute Valer Bălășoiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Ospina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. EL CERVECERO F.C.'s Vinicio Felipo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugo Frasco in the 44th minute of play. Higinio Valente hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The supporters of EL CERVECERO F.C. booed when León FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Abella didn't get a good kick on the ball. León FC's David Ospina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valer Bălășoiu in the 60th minute of play. León FC's Filiberto Checa was substituted for Hugo Frasco. EL CERVECERO F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Radomir Tomiczek in the 62nd minute. A nice corner shot did that Radomir Tomiczek got away a dangerous shot. Despite this David Ospina quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valer Bălășoiu in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck David Ospina prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The León FC fans' excitement grew in the 69th match minute when León FC's Filiberto Checa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 74th minute Filiberto Checa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vinicio Felipo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 77th match minute, EL CERVECERO F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radomir Tomiczek to maneuver through the defense. EL CERVECERO F.C.'s Gerardo Iraunkor was substituted for Valer Bălășoiu. After 78 played minutes EL CERVECERO F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Radomir Tomiczek. Filiberto Checa scored 2-0 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vinicio Felipo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the EL CERVECERO F.C. defense, Filiberto Checa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vinicio Felipo. The EL CERVECERO F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vinicio Felipo should have stopped the shot. David Ospina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radomir Tomiczek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 92nd minute, Gaston Haimar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 93 minutes into the match, León FC's goalkeeper David Ospina had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gerardo Iraunkor. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Filiberto Checa put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Vinicio Felipo. When the referee ended the match the León FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
