Leonides Valentine was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Leonides Valentine showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Baumer in the 31st minute of the match. Krestian Blædel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gogo Erdiano in the 36th minute of the match. After 40 minutes, Omar Rosalio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Argentino de Banfield and the Club Atletico Union players grew even worse after the yellow card. 42 minutes into the game, Dalmacio Daunte was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-5.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vicente Baumer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Argentino de Banfield's defense didn't have a chance, in the 51st minute, when Esteve Loren scored to the left of an out of position Leonides Valentine, making the score, 2-6. Feo Feo hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Leonides Valentine came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atletico Union's Vicente Baumer. But to his dismay, Vicente Baumer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-7. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Vicente Baumer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atletico Union's supporters rose to their feet, but Vicente Baumer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonides Valentine breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dalmacio Daunte got his second yellow card in the match during the 71st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 72nd match minute, Argentino de Banfield was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dalmacio Daunte to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Esteve Loren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atletico Union's supporters rose to their feet, but Esteve Loren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonides Valentine breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Esteve Loren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute.
