Leonides Valentine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonides Valentine came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by The Waldos's Prudencio Isias. But to his dismay, Prudencio Isias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 7 minutes into the match, Argentino de Banfield's goal looked a bit too open when Prudencio Isias came free, but Leonides Valentine reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leonides Valentine took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvaro Pagomari, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Prudencio Isias's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leonides Valentine was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. Leonides Valentine showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marin Ştefănescu in the 14th minute of the match. In the 14th match minute, Argentino de Banfield was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gogo Erdiano to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 15 minutes, Alvaro Pagomari managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Waldos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alvaro Pagomari was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Prudencio Isias took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leonides Valentine. Leonides Valentine dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Leonides Valentine didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marin Ştefănescu went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 23rd minute, Agustin Distiratsu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 24 played minutes The Waldos got a freekick which was hit by Lázaro Bonadona. 27 minutes into the match, Prudencio Isias had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leonides Valentine. Argentino de Banfield's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Prudencio Isias was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. After 29 played minutes The Waldos got a freekick which was hit by Agustin Distiratsu. Alvaro Pagomari sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leonides Valentine took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prudencio Isias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes into the match, Marin Ştefănescu notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Argentino de Banfield's Leonides Valentine. Leonides Valentine was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 39 minutes into the game, The Waldos's Prudencio Isias nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leonides Valentine made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. After a defensive mix-up in Argentino de Banfield's zone, Alvaro Pagomari stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonides Valentine came out of the goal and Alvaro Pagomari tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Prudencio Isias scored 0-7 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leonides Valentine, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 0-7 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Victorio Bemabe made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Kazimierz Madajczyk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonides Valentine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejo Orti in the 57th minute of play forced The Waldos's goalkeeper Er Tuğrul to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alvaro Pagomari scored 0-9 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leonides Valentine, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Leonides Valentine showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prudencio Isias in the 63rd minute of the match. Leonides Valentine showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Prudencio Isias, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Argentino de Banfield's Leonides Valentine played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prudencio Isias in the 67th minute of play. Leonides Valentine took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Justo Martino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 70th play minutes Marin Ştefănescu shot 0-10, a short shot which went by Leonides Valentine and just under the crossbar into goal. The Waldos's Fidel Erdiano was substituted for 唐崇适. Leonides Valentine was a little too slow when Prudencio Isias got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 77th minute. The score was now 0-12. In the 89th play minute Evandro Ortiz came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Leonides Valentine. 0-13. Leonides Valentine made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marin Ştefănescu in the 94th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as The Waldos's Rogelio Velasco slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Leonides Valentine. That made the score 0-14 after 95 minutes of play. The Argentino de Banfield fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. The Waldos were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
