Spectators: 7679 (Terracing: 5760, Seating: 1766, VIP seats: 153) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ridouane Palermo started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ridouane Palermo in the 2nd minute of play forced Argentino de Banfield's goalkeeper Leonides Valentine to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonides Valentine took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hilario Iruinea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 5 minutes into the game, Ridouane Palermo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Leonides Valentine was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hilario Iruinea took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leonides Valentine. Leonides Valentine dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Leonides Valentine showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ridouane Palermo, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 16th minute Prospero Orlan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonides Valentine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute, Prospero Orlan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Argentino de Banfield getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Hermengildo Ishmael hit a great ball. After 21 played minutes Muten got a freekick which was hit by Rögnvaldur Bjarmarsson. Alejo Orti, 21 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 26 minutes into the match, Argentino de Banfield's goal looked a bit too open when Rögnvaldur Bjarmarsson came free, but Leonides Valentine reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Muten's Ridouane Palermo suffered a concussion in the 27th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Dalmacio Daunte's late challenge caught a Muten's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dalmacio Daunte helped the player get up and apologised. Dalmacio Daunte hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Leonides Valentine showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carmelo Rodas in the 29th minute of the match. Leonides Valentine took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carmelo Rodas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute, Hilario Iruinea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Muten's Asmund Marchorst played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermengildo Ishmael in the 37th minute of play. In the 43rd minute Prospero Orlan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonides Valentine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 45 minutes, Prospero Orlan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Muten's supporters crossed their fingers, but Prospero Orlan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half Muten were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After 50 played minutes Muten got a freekick which was hit by Gonzalo Rolado. Leonides Valentine showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cayetano Onbera in the 56th minute of the match. Prospero Orlan kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Leonides Valentine showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cayetano Onbera, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Prospero Orlan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carmelo Rodas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 68thth minute tested the skills of Leonides Valentine when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rögnvaldur Bjarmarsson in the 69th minute of play forced Argentino de Banfield's goalkeeper Leonides Valentine to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Argentino de Banfield's goalkeeper Leonides Valentine had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Prospero Orlan. 72 minutes into the match, Argentino de Banfield's goal looked a bit too open when Hilario Iruinea came free, but Leonides Valentine reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cayetano Onbera in the 74th minute of play forced Argentino de Banfield's goalkeeper Leonides Valentine to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonides Valentine showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cayetano Onbera, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. The supporters of Argentino de Banfield booed when Muten was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Prospero Orlan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Muten's Adolfo Chago was substituted for Laureano Llorian. In the 81st minute, Prospero Orlan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 84 minutes into the match, Argentino de Banfield's goalkeeper Leonides Valentine had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hilario Iruinea. The audience was convinced that Cayetano Onbera's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leonides Valentine was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. Hilario Iruinea struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Leonides Valentine didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Muten. Hilario Iruinea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonides Valentine having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Cayetano Onbera kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Leonides Valentine. That made the score 0-5 in the 93 minute of play. Muten played a much better game than Argentino de Banfield and deserved their victory. The Argentino de Banfield players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
