In the 20thth minute of the game Vicente Baumer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Muten's Asmund Marchorst was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Vicente Baumer put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Asmund Marchorst. Hilario Iruinea hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Carmelo Rodas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Krestian Blædel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prospero Orlan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Asmund Marchorst made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vicente Baumer in the 40th minute of play. A collision led to Club Atletico Union getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Luis Munio hit a great ball. Krestian Blædel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ridouane Palermo in the 43rd minute of play. Muten's defense didn't have a chance, in the 46th minute, when Vicente Baumer scored to the left of an out of position Asmund Marchorst, making the score, 4-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vicente Baumer to make the kick off. Asmund Marchorst took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jose-Antonio Casillas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Prospero Orlan got free with Krestian Blædel in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Muten getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Prospero Orlan hit a great ball. Prospero Orlan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Krestian Blædel made a huge save. Krestian Blædel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Prospero Orlan in the 68th minute. After 69 played minutes Club Atletico Union got a freekick which was hit by Luis Munio. Ridouane Palermo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Krestian Blædel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. Asmund Marchorst showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esteve Loren, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Vicente Baumer took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Asmund Marchorst. Asmund Marchorst dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Muten made a substitution. Adolfo Chago replaced Laureano Llorian. With 95 minutes on the clock, Eduard Portolés commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 95th match minute, Club Atletico Union was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduard Portolés to maneuver through the defense. Gonzalo Rolado fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 97th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball bounced in the crossbar and then went out. It was a very nice shot.
