Hermengildo Ishmael started the match with the kick off. Leonides Valentine took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hector Bieito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Blackened's Norberto Ilixo got a free kick in the 12th minute. After 24 minutes, Hermengildo Ishmael mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Argentino de Banfield and the Blackened players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Blackened booed when Argentino de Banfield was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hermengildo Ishmael didn't get a good kick on the ball. Victorio Bemabe's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 27thth minute, Fermin Goyo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Fermin Goyo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermengildo Ishmael in the 29th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, Fabricio Costante notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Blackened's Fermin Goyo. Fermin Goyo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Leonides Valentine showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hector Bieito, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. 38 minutes into the match, Blackened's goalkeeper Fermin Goyo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabricio Costante. 39 minutes into the game, Unax Cabrerizo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Blackened's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Argentino de Banfield the free kick. A collision led to Blackened getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Unax Cabrerizo hit a great ball. In the 46th match minute, Argentino de Banfield was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Omar Rosalio to maneuver through the defense. Melquiades Manny kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hector Bieito stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Hermengildo Ishmael hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victorio Bemabe in the 58th minute of play forced Blackened's goalkeeper Fermin Goyo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fermin Goyo came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Argentino de Banfield's Fabricio Costante. But to his dismay, Fabricio Costante quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Leonides Valentine made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector Bieito in the 64th minute of play. 65 minutes had been played when some careless play by Argentino de Banfield's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Hector Bieito was slow to take the kick. During this time Blackened's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Hector Bieito got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Leonides Valentine quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Fermin Goyo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gogo Erdiano in the 68th minute of play. In the 77th minute Fabricio Costante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fermin Goyo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hector Bieito in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leonides Valentine saved Argentino de Banfield from getting behind. 83 minutes into the game, Gogo Erdiano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Fermin Goyo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 86th minute, Melquiades Manny got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Argentino de Banfield had played much better football throughout.
