Norberto Orti had in the 7thth minute some difficulties stopping Beat Kellenberger's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 8 minutes had been played when some careless play by Defensores de V.G.Galvez!'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Beat Kellenberger was slow to take the kick. During this time Divorciados FC's players had a chance to rest. After 12 minutes, Filiberto Elazar made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Divorciados FC's Ezequiel Centurión tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Norberto Orti stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fabricio Otsoa's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. After taking down the ball on Divorciados FC's corner Rodolfo Manuelo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Norberto Orti quite easily take care of the ball. After 22 minutes Divorciados FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Generoso Fidencio who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Generoso Fidencio almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Divorciados FC's Ezequiel Centurión did a great save. After 24 minutes of play, Defensores de V.G.Galvez!'s Alonzo Gilen made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ezequiel Centurión was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Divorciados FC's Robustiano Eufemio got a free kick in the 28th minute. Defensores de V.G.Galvez!'s Norberto Orti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabricio Otsoa in the 32nd minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Divorciados FC's goal looked a bit too open when Filiberto Elazar came free, but Ezequiel Centurión reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute Alonzo Gilen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ezequiel Centurión saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 37 minutes of play, Defensores de V.G.Galvez!'s Filiberto Elazar made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ezequiel Centurión was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Fabricio Otsoa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 41 minutes into the match, Defensores de V.G.Galvez!'s goalkeeper Norberto Orti had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Beat Kellenberger. Rodolfo Manuelo kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Divorciados FC's Cornelio Rudolfo got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Filiberto Elazar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After the first half Defensores de V.G.Galvez! were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fabricio Otsoa was the one to do the kick off. Alonzo Gilen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 50th minute of the match, but Ezequiel Centurión made a huge save. In the 57th minute Benedykt Poling shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norberto Orti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, Filiberto Elazar dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ezequiel Centurión, 0-5. Ezequiel Centurión was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Filiberto Elazar showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 62 minute of play. Fabricio Otsoa hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Ezequiel Centurión made an important save on a dangerous shot by Generoso Fidencio in the 67th minute. Defensores de V.G.Galvez! were awarded a corner in the 68th minute after Divorciados FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Generoso Fidencio took the corner. Defensores de V.G.Galvez!'s Leo Argina was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ezequiel Centurión in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabricio Otsoa in the 75th minute of play forced Defensores de V.G.Galvez!'s goalkeeper Norberto Orti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alonzo Gilen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Defensores de V.G.Galvez!'s Epifanio Orlan was substituted for Manuel Jatsu. Norberto Orti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arturo Vergaray, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute of the match Defensores de V.G.Galvez! got a corner. Divorciados FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Generoso Fidencio ran over to the corner to take the kick. Defensores de V.G.Galvez!'s Norberto Orti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arturo Vergaray in the 92nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fabricio Otsoa in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Norberto Orti saved Defensores de V.G.Galvez! from getting behind. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Defensores de V.G.Galvez! walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
