Club Estudiantes de Mza's Victorino Timo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabricio Otsoa in the 15th minute of play. Dario Cvitanich received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ezequiel Centurión came out and tried to block the shot, but Dario Cvitanich slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 20th minute. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Divorciados FC's goalkeeper Ezequiel Centurión, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Divorciados FC's Beat Kellenberger got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Dé 孙策 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute, Club Estudiantes de Mza's Dario Cvitanich dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. After 31 minutes, Rodolfo Manuelo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Divorciados FC and the Club Estudiantes de Mza players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ezequiel Centurión showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dé 孙策 in the 45th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Divorciados FC's zone, Dario Cvitanich stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ezequiel Centurión came out of the goal and Dario Cvitanich tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Dario Cvitanich made the kick off in the second half. Ezequiel Centurión showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justino Amaya in the 51st minute of the match. Dario Cvitanich recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dario Cvitanich in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ezequiel Centurión saved Divorciados FC from getting behind. Matias Jesco kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Club Estudiantes de Mza fans cheered their team off the field, for while Divorciados FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
