The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Antony Ferrant managed to get in a good position for a shot. After the first half Club Lacra Unida were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

It was a well-played corner which Florentino Rodas managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Tomás Berart showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filomeno Marko in the 95th minute of the match. Chants of Club Lacra Unida echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Estudiantes de La Plata had held the ball for most of the match.
