With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mickael Wuyts prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 7 minutes, Felipe Mino made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Bahía é Carnaval's Mickael Wuyts tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Gaudencio Blai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacinto Rosio in the 16th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Jacinto Rosio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gaudencio Blai was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Simon Ferran who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 21stth minute tested the skills of Mickael Wuyts when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Felipe Mino charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felipe Mino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Felipe Mino kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felipe Mino in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mickael Wuyts saved Bahía é Carnaval from getting behind. Mickael Wuyts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Mino in the 26th minute of the match. In the 27th match minute, Bahía é Carnaval was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emilio Lucado to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Mino in the 29th minute of play forced Bahía é Carnaval's goalkeeper Mickael Wuyts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.
