In the 12th minute Suibhne Ghee shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tassos Kefalas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gaudencio Blai came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Fortuna's Vladimir do Valle. But to his dismay, Vladimir do Valle quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Yngvi Óttarsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Gaudencio Blai made a huge save. Gaudencio Blai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Paublo, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Tassos Kefalas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorino Mogel in the 22nd minute of play. Gaudencio Blai made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yngvi Óttarsson in the 23rd minute. Vladimir do Valle came free with the goalkeeper in the 38th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gaudencio Blai could save by the left post. In the 47th minute, Fortuna's Yngvi Óttarsson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gaudencio Blai. Gaudencio Blai yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0.
A collision led to Tama getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Suibhne Ghee hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Tama's zone, Justino Arotza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gaudencio Blai came out of the goal and Justino Arotza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Vladimir do Valle's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gaudencio Blai was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Gaudencio Blai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alonzo Oton, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. After 60 minutes of play, Fortuna's Julian Paublo made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gaudencio Blai was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fortuna's Anier Fernendo was substituted for Yngvi Óttarsson. Tassos Kefalas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Suibhne Ghee in the 65th minute. Gaudencio Blai didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Justino Arotza went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Tama's Simon Ferran was substituted for Suibhne Ghee. Tama's Marco Santiago was substituted for Joel Guerau. 78 minutes into the match, Tama's goal looked a bit too open when Anier Fernendo came free, but Gaudencio Blai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 96 played minutes Tama got a freekick which was hit by Elivélton Porto. Vladimir do Valle, 97 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Tama's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
