In the 5th minute Club Lacra Unida were awarded a corner. Jeremias Quiroga went to the cornerflag to take it. Gilmar Coelho came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Lacra Unida's Antony Ferrant. But to his dismay, Antony Ferrant quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Club Lacra Unida's Tomás Berart played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Milton Melgar in the 21st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Supay Puka Huasi FC's zone, Antony Ferrant stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilmar Coelho came out of the goal and Antony Ferrant tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tomás Berart showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niceto Ferdinand, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 30th minute of the match Supay Puka Huasi FC got a corner. Club Lacra Unida's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Aristides Gaspard ran over to the corner to take the kick. The supporters of Supay Puka Huasi FC booed when Club Lacra Unida was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nemesio Clementi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 40 minutes, Niceto Ferdinand managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Supay Puka Huasi FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Niceto Ferdinand was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antony Ferrant to make the kick off. The supporters of Supay Puka Huasi FC booed when Club Lacra Unida was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nemesio Clementi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomás Berart took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niceto Ferdinand, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 59 minutes Club Lacra Unida's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Aristides Gaspard who took care of the corner kick. Alonzo Cordario tried in the 59th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Tomás Berart a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 1-2. In the 65th minute Antony Ferrant shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilmar Coelho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antony Ferrant spun around in front of the goal 66 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Supay Puka Huasi FC's goal. Supay Puka Huasi FC's Gilmar Coelho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antony Ferrant in the 73rd minute of play.
