Pedro Bartolome started the match with the kick off. With a little luck, Newell´s's Cristobal Estavan got control of the ball when Ruperto Urre tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tauri Koha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amancio Bilintx in the 57th minute of the match. Mutquín FC's Tauri Koha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Mutquín FC from getting a goal against them. In the 95th match minute, Newell´s was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Indiana Turban to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Mutquín FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Newell´s had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
