Nils Marques III's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tonico Tinoco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Benito Bermudez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpected shot in the 17th minute by Nils Marques III got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Tonico Tinoco was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Elvio Bastiaro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 25 minute of play. Nils Marques III could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Tonico Tinoco made a huge save. In the 29th minute Severo Eron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orlando Chorache saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Inter Miami CF's Javier Fridman got a free kick in the 31st minute. Tonico Tinoco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elvio Bastiaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. After 37 played minutes Inter Miami CF got a freekick which was hit by Román Riquelme. Corrado Anelli's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tonico Tinoco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 39 minutes, Tonico Tinoco successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A collision led to Inter Miami CF getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Severo Eron hit a great ball. 48 minutes into the game, Elvio Bastiaro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tonico Tinoco. Elvio Bastiaro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nils Marques III made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Nils Marques III managed to get in a good position for a shot. 9 De Julio de Rafaela's supporters rose to their feet, but Nils Marques III was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tonico Tinoco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Börje Wenerdahl in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tonico Tinoco saved Inter Miami CF from getting behind. Tonico Tinoco came out of the goal and Nils Marques III tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 65thth minute of the game Braulio Cilio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 9 De Julio de Rafaela's Orlando Chorache was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Inter Miami CF booed when 9 De Julio de Rafaela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Prospero Iratxo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Inter Miami CF's zone, Elvio Bastiaro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tonico Tinoco came out of the goal and Elvio Bastiaro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Börje Wenerdahl in the 78th minute of play forced Inter Miami CF's goalkeeper Tonico Tinoco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Nils Marques III had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tonico Tinoco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elvio Bastiaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Elvio Bastiaro scored 5-0 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tonico Tinoco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 9 De Julio de Rafaela made a substitution.
