Pavel Lukin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Toro, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. 20 minutes into the match, KALSTEIN UNITED's Moises Aurre sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Agustin Telesforo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as KALSTEIN UNITED's Facundo Arancibia slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Agustin Telesforo. That made the score 1-0 after 21 minutes of play. In the 35th minute, Alberto Gonzalez had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Anibal Libertad's late challenge caught a CAPITAN PILUSO 26.06.11's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anibal Libertad helped the player get up and apologised. CAPITAN PILUSO 26.06.11's Delmar Incendio was substituted for Alberto Gonzalez. A collision led to KALSTEIN UNITED getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Anibal Libertad hit a great ball. Pavel Lukin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tobias Oxel in the 40th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Moises Aurre got free with Agustin Telesforo in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 45 minutes into the match, CAPITAN PILUSO 26.06.11's goal looked a bit too open when Freddy Galeno came free, but Agustin Telesforo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

KALSTEIN UNITED were awarded a corner in the 57th minute after CAPITAN PILUSO 26.06.11's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Erik Isaksson took the corner. Pavel Lukin was a little too slow when Guido Bautista got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 59th minute. The score was now 2-1. In the 63rd minute Facundo Arancibia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agustin Telesforo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
