Weisburd's Nicasio Guilabertus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcial Munio in the 25th minute of play. Nicasio Guilabertus made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Marcial Munio sent off a good shot on target. Amadeo Iigo made in the 31st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by San Martin de Tucuman's Ubaldo Veto. With a little luck, Weisburd's Nicasio Guilabertus got control of the ball when Marcial Munio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nicasio Guilabertus made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Marcial Munio sent off a good shot on target. If Paulino Lamberto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anselmo Toli made a kick off. A collision led to Weisburd getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Saul Rodas hit a great ball. In the 62ndth minute of the game Marcial Munio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Weisburd's Nicasio Guilabertus was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 63 minutes into the game, Marcial Munio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Nicasio Guilabertus was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cecilio Jax came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Weisburd's Delmiro Nafarroa. But to his dismay, Delmiro Nafarroa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After some careless play in the Weisburd defense, Marcial Munio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nicasio Guilabertus. The Weisburd fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nicasio Guilabertus should have stopped the shot. San Martin de Tucuman made a substitution. Pipis Vattimos replaced Luciano Selmo. After a rather tough play, San Martin de Tucuman's Ubaldo Veto got a free kick in the 79th minute. After 80 played minutes Weisburd got a freekick which was hit by Amadeo Iigo. A collision led to Weisburd getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Amadeo Iigo hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Weisburd defense, Hector Gizon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nicasio Guilabertus. The Weisburd fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nicasio Guilabertus should have stopped the shot. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Weisburd's goalkeeper Nicasio Guilabertus, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 90 minutes had been played when some careless play by Weisburd's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner.
