Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Romeu Sanches came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Camarón Bombay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Romeu Sanches couldn't finish the play. 19 minutes into the match, Camarón Bombay's goal looked a bit too open when Cristobal Pero came free, but Gianluca Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Romeu Sanches had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gervasio Beti. Atlético Pehuen-Co's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Romeu Sanches was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Gianluca Buffon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Romeu Sanches took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gervasio Beti. Gervasio Beti made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. In the 99th minute of the match Camarón Bombay got a corner. Atlético Pehuen-Co's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Romeu Sanches ran over to the corner to take the kick. Eriberto Michael tried in the 99th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Gervasio Beti a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 2-4.
