After 17 minutes, Martin Benvide mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sentimiento Auriazul and the Cutty S4rk A C players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gavino Viviano yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Cutty S4rk A C's Gavino Viviano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Cutty S4rk A C from getting a goal against them. Felix Johans struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Gavino Viviano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sentimiento Auriazul. In the 28th minute, Frodo Baggins hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eriberto Manni helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Sentimiento Auriazul's Eriberto Manni got a free kick in the 35th minute. Cutty S4rk A C's Felipe Flor got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Felix Johans could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Gavino Viviano made a huge save. Cutty S4rk A C's Gavino Viviano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Cutty S4rk A C from getting a goal against them. Deivid Secco kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Felix Johans to make the kick off. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Cutty S4rk A C's Deivid Secco managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Julius Eilat in the 71 minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felix Johans in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gavino Viviano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 84thth minute of the game Felix Johans who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cutty S4rk A C's Gavino Viviano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cutty S4rk A C made a substitution. Tiburcio Checa replaced Benicio Escobar. The corner ended in Eriberto Manni almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Cutty S4rk A C's Gavino Viviano did a great save. In the 88th minute Felix Johans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gavino Viviano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sentimiento Auriazul's Santiago Cañizares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Sentimiento Auriazul from getting a goal against them. When the referee ended the match the Sentimiento Auriazul players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
