Dobromir Malkanov came out of the goal and Luisito Francis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. TALLERES CBA's Dobromir Malkanov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrico Lenci in the 13th minute of play. Dobromir Malkanov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrico Lenci in the 15th minute of play. The corner led Maracanaso F.C's Luisito Francis to fire away a dangerous shot which Dobromir Malkanov despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A collision led to Maracanaso F.C getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Ramon Figueroa hit a great ball. The supporters of TALLERES CBA booed when Maracanaso F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marciano Gamus didn't get a good kick on the ball. Enrique Heli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerrit Struyf in the 20th minute of play. Dobromir Malkanov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michal Domaradzki, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Gerrit Struyf could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Enrique Heli made a huge save. TALLERES CBA were awarded a corner in the 28th minute after Maracanaso F.C's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lorenzo Martxot took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Lorenzo Martxot got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Enrique Heli quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Dobromir Malkanov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrico Lenci in the 30th minute of play. Luisito Francis made a great header on Maracanaso F.C's corner, it was just that TALLERES CBA's Dobromir Malkanov managed to reach the ball for a save. If Teobaldo Mikolas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dobromir Malkanov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrico Lenci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 42 minutes into the match, Gerrit Struyf had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Enrique Heli. Maracanaso F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gerrit Struyf was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The supporters of Maracanaso F.C booed when TALLERES CBA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerrit Struyf didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Dobromir Malkanov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrico Lenci in the 52nd minute of play. Maracanaso F.C's Enrique Heli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerrit Struyf in the 59th minute of play. With a little luck, TALLERES CBA's Dobromir Malkanov got control of the ball when Cipriano Austin tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 66th minute Gerrit Struyf shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Heli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, TALLERES CBA's goal looked a bit too open when Enrico Lenci came free, but Dobromir Malkanov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Gerrit Struyf's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Enrique Heli was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. Enrique Heli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lisandro Cristos, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. In the 89th minute, Enrico Lenci reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dobromir Malkanov. The goal made the score 1-3. The Maracanaso F.C supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Maracanaso F.C would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
