Spectators: 7785 (Terracing: 5840, Seating: 1790, VIP seats: 155) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Felix Johans started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, TRIDΣNT's Chucky Gol got a free kick in the 2nd minute. When Sentimiento Auriazul's Felix Johans in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye TRIDΣNT's goalie prevented a goal. Sentimiento Auriazul's Luisito Behe was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Zakarias Middleton in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 8th minute Luisito Behe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zakarias Middleton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Santiago Cañizares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Americo Uzuri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12thth minute of the game Bob Hinkler who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but TRIDΣNT's Zakarias Middleton was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Chucky Gol managed to get in a good position for a shot. TRIDΣNT's supporters rose to their feet, but Chucky Gol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Santiago Cañizares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chucky Gol in the 15th minute of play forced Sentimiento Auriazul's goalkeeper Santiago Cañizares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santiago Cañizares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Chucky Gol went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Zakarias Middleton made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Luisito Behe sent off a good shot on target. Santiago Cañizares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chucky Gol, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sentimiento Auriazul's goalkeeper Santiago Cañizares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Santiago Cañizares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chucky Gol in the 32nd minute of play. Santiago Cañizares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chucky Gol, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. 42 minutes into the match, Sentimiento Auriazul's goal looked a bit too open when Chucky Gol came free, but Santiago Cañizares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Esteban Salomon got free with Santiago Cañizares in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 55 minutes Sentimiento Auriazul's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rogelio Liher who took care of the corner kick. 56 minutes into the match, Sentimiento Auriazul's goalkeeper Santiago Cañizares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Esteban Salomon. The crowd rose to their feet as TRIDΣNT's Esteban Salomon slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Santiago Cañizares. That made the score 0-3 after 56 minutes of play. Bob Hinkler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zakarias Middleton having to interfere. If Fernando Fidanza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. TRIDΣNT's Zakarias Middleton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Johans in the 61st minute of play. Santiago Cañizares was out of position in the 65 minute of play, and Esteban Salomon capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Esteban Salomon really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. TRIDΣNT's Battal Cüneyt Akkan was substituted for Vaklin Dzhevov. Santiago Cañizares made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Battal Cüneyt Akkan sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Felix Johans's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zakarias Middleton was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felix Johans in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zakarias Middleton saved TRIDΣNT from getting behind. Emanuel Tome kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. In the 75th minute, Emanuel Tome hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Battal Cüneyt Akkan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Santiago Cañizares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, Sentimiento Auriazul's goal looked a bit too open when Esteban Salomon came free, but Santiago Cañizares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Santiago Cañizares made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Battal Cüneyt Akkan sent off a good shot on target. Santiago Cañizares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esteban Salomon, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. In the 95th minute Battal Cüneyt Akkan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santiago Cañizares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The TRIDΣNT supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing TRIDΣNT would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
